Put on your walking shoes and get ready to experience local history!

Coinciding with the Holocaust Center’s current exhibit featuring the work of Teenie Harris, the Holocaust Center presents a walking tour of the city’s Hill District neighborhood, where Teenie lived and worked.

In addition to being a center for African-American culture in Pittsburgh, the neighborhood also boasts deep roots in local Jewish history. This tour will visit 12-15 sites in the Hill District, relevant to both Jewish and black history in Pittsburgh, to illustrate the intersection of the two communities’ histories.

Transportation between the sites will be provided.
The tour will begin at 1:00 pm at the Hill House.

Cost to attend the tour is $10, and free for survivors and students with a valid ID.

SOLD OUT!
