The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh will honor those who have made a lasting impact in Jewish education. Honorees will be educators, staff or volunteers who have made a significant contribution to their school. This event seeks to honor those dedicated individuals who ensure Jewish continuity and nurture our children, youth, families and adult learners. Their critical work strengthens the soul of our community.
At this event, we will also be recognizing the 2017 Pittsburgh recipient of The Grinspoon Awards For Excellence in Jewish Education (formerly Grinspoon-Steinhardt Awards). This national award has recognized over 700 outstanding educators in the U.S. and Canada in the past 16 years. Today the award celebrates successful innovation in Jewish education.
