Giving Societies and Levels

In 1912, our parents and grandparents first convened to face the critical challenges threatening Jewish life. Now, it's our turn – as a community – to shoulder the load of responsibility and address the alarming obstacles ahead.

Welcome to the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, where the values of compassion, charity, generosity, and responsibility inspire us to improve the quality of life for people in our community, in Israel, and in over 70 countries around the world every day.

  • Where we, as a community, develop innovative responses to critical, often life-threatening issues.
  • Where anyone who needs help can get it.
  • Where an energized Jewish community grows and celebrates.

We have accomplished great feats over the last 100 years, and look forward to the next century of Jewish community and philanthropy in Pittsburgh.

Welcome to the Jewish Federation, where everyone, including you, can make a world of difference - right now.
