In this course, Rabbi Schiff will teach and lead discussion on a significant and compelling Jewish work that deserves study. Participants are encouraged to read one chapter of a book per week in order to get the most out of the class. This year, we will be studying Adam Kirsch’s “The People and the Books”. A 2016 work, Kirsch provides a readable survey of 18 widely varied classic Jewish texts that every Jew should know.

No prior knowledge is necessary – open to all!
