Join us for a fascinating discussion on the opioid crisis in the Pittsburgh area featuring: 

  • Rosa Davis, Executive Direct, Pennsylvania Organization for Women in Early Recovery (POWER) 
  • Karen Hacker, Director, Allegheny County Health Department 
  • Ashley Potts, Licensed Social Worker, Allegheny Health Network
  • Charlene Tissenbaum, Moderator

When clients arrive at POWER, they give them welcome bags to provide them with staples like toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, lotion, notebooks, and journals. Instead of a couvert, we ask each attendee to bring one of the items above.

Ladies Who Lunch

AKA LWL is a new program created in partnership with Women’s Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, the National Council of Jewish Women, and the Jewish Women’s Foundation, with the idea of creating fun and unique lunchtime programming for our women. We plan to hold three programs a year and will focus on a variety of topics.
