Why Should You Become a Monthly Sustainer?
When you commit to giving a monthly gift, of any amount, the tax-deductible donations provide us with consistent, reliable revenue. All contributions benefit the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh Annual Campaign, which is our primary fundraising effort. It provides the essential unrestricted dollars needed to support organizations in our community that provide amazing services to those in need here in Pittsburgh, Israel, and around the world.

Is there a minimum monthly donation to participate?
No. Whether you'd like to give $5, $50, or $500 per month, we can make it happen quickly and easily.
Yes. Based on your total annual giving, you will be included in all respective Federation giving societies. For more information about Federation giving societies, please click here.
Will I get invited to events?
Yes. Based on your total annual giving, you will be invited to all qualifying events.
Will I be listed on the Honor Roll in the Federation's Annual Report?
Yes. When you give a gift that totals $1000 or more per year, you have the option of being listed in the Federation's Annual Report.
What would my monthly contributions need to be to reach specific Federation giving levels?
$150/month = $1,800/year
$83.33/month = $1,000/year
$41.67/month = $500/year
$30.42/month = $365/year
$15/month = $180/year

Can I continue this past 12 months of donations?
Yes. By signing up, we will continue charging your credit card monthly until you tell us to stop or until your credit card expires.
How can I increase the amount of my monthly donation?
Each year, approximately a month before your year anniversary, we will contact you about maintaining or increasing the amount of your donation. You are also encouraged to contact our Donor Services Associate, 412-992-5255 or DonorServices@jfedpgh.org, to make any edits to your account at any time.
Can I sign up online?
At this time, our online payment system cannot handle reoccurring credit card transactions. Therefore, our Donor Services Associate, 412-992-5255 or DonorServices@jfedpgh.org, will take your information over the phone and directly process it through our secure payment system.
Will the Federation stop calling me to ask for an Annual Contribution?
Yes. However, the Federation will continue to contact you to update credit card information, invite you to events, take part in respective giving societies and receive any newsletters that you subscribe to.
